Edhe si lindi Jisui n\u00eb Betlehem t\u00eb Judes\u00eb, n\u00eb dit\u00ebt e mbretit Herod, ja, ca
\nmag\u00eb nga Lindja erdh\u00ebn n\u00eb Jerusalem, duke th\u00ebn\u00eb: Ku \u00ebsht\u00eb mbreti i Judenjve
\nq\u00eb ka lindur? Sepse pam\u00eb yllin e tij nga Lindja dhe erdh\u00ebm q\u00eb t\u2019i falemi.
\nEdhe mbreti Herod kur d\u00ebgjoi, u drodh edhe bashk\u00eb me t\u00eb edhe gjith\u00eb
\nJerusalemi. Edhe si mblodhi gjith\u00eb kryeprift\u00ebrinjt\u00eb edhe shkruesit e popullit,
\npyeste t\u00eb merrte vesh prej tyre se ku lind Krishti. Edhe ata i than\u00eb atij: N\u00eb
\nBetlehem t\u00eb Judes\u00eb. Sepse k\u00ebshtu \u00ebsht\u00eb shkruar me an\u00eb t\u00eb profetit: \u201cEdhe
\nti, Betlehem, dheu i Judes\u00eb, aspak nuk je m\u00eb i vogli nd\u00ebr t\u00eb par\u00ebt e Judes\u00eb;
\nsepse prej teje do t\u00eb dal\u00eb nj\u00eb prij\u00ebs, i cili do t\u00eb kullos\u00eb popullin tim Izrael\u201d.
\nAt\u00ebher\u00eb Herodi thirri fshehurazi mag\u00ebt, edhe mori vesh me sakt\u00ebsi nga ata

\nkishin par\u00eb n\u00eb Lindje tek shkonte p\u00ebrpara tyre, deri sa erdhi e q\u00ebndroi sip\u00ebr
\ntek ishte f\u00ebmija. Edhe ata kur pan\u00eb yllin, u g\u00ebzuan me g\u00ebzim fort t\u00eb madh.
\nEdhe kur erdh\u00ebn n\u00eb sht\u00ebpi, pan\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00ebn bashk\u00eb me t\u00eb \u00ebm\u00ebn, Marin\u00eb, edhe
\nduke r\u00ebn\u00eb p\u00ebrdhe iu fal\u00ebn atij, edhe si hap\u00ebn thesaret e tyre, i prun\u00eb atij
\ndhurata, ar e temjan e miro. Edhe si iu tregua atyre nga Per\u00ebndia n\u00eb \u00ebnd\u00ebrr
\nt\u00eb mos kthehen tek Herodi, ik\u00ebn n\u00eb vendin e tyre nga nj\u00eb tjet\u00ebr udh\u00eb.
