Me ve-<br \/>\nprimtarin\u00eb e tyre t\u00eb \u00e7muar, ma-<br \/>\nnastiret orthodhokse n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri<br \/>\nu shquan gjat\u00eb shekujve osman\u00eb si<br \/>\ninstitucione t\u00eb p\u00ebrkujdesit social,<br \/>\nt\u00eb zhvillimit arsimor, kulturor dhe<br \/>\nekonomik t\u00eb vendit, si edhe si pi-<br \/>\nshtar\u00eb mbrojt\u00ebs t\u00eb fes\u00eb s\u00eb t\u00eb par\u00eb-<br \/>\nve dhe t\u00eb vet\u00ebdijes historike n\u00eb ko-<br \/>\nh\u00eb t\u00eb v\u00ebshtira p\u00ebr popullin ton\u00eb. Nj\u00eb<br \/>\nnd\u00ebr k\u00ebto manastire \u00ebsht\u00eb edhe ai<br \/>\ni Piqerasit.<br \/>\nFshati Piqeras ndodhet n\u00eb varg-<br \/>\nmalin bregdetar t\u00eb Jugut t\u00eb Shqi-<br \/>\np\u00ebris\u00eb, 29 km n\u00eb veri t\u00eb Sarand\u00ebs.<br \/>\nGjat\u00eb shek. XIX, ka qen\u00eb pjes\u00eb ad-<br \/>\nministrative e kazas\u00eb s\u00eb Delvin\u00ebs,<br \/>\npjes\u00eb e sanxhakut t\u00eb Gjirokastr\u00ebs;<br \/>\nnga ana kishtare varej nga Mitro-<br \/>\npolia e Drinopolit. Ki-<br \/>\nsha qendrore e manastirit, sot mo-<br \/>\nnument kulture, i \u00ebsht\u00eb kushtuar<br \/>\nFjetjes s\u00eb Hyjlind\u00ebses Mari. Nga<br \/>\nana arkitekturore, kisha i p\u00ebrket ti-<br \/>\npit bazilikal trikonk\u00ebsh me kupo-<br \/>\nl\u00eb, me tri nefe, e mbuluar me nj\u00eb<br \/>\nsistem harqesh dhe qemer\u00ebsh.<br \/>\nGjat\u00eb shek. XIX, t\u00eb ardhurat e<br \/>\nmanastirit arrinin n\u00eb 100 lira turke,<br \/>\nprej t\u00eb cilave 40 shkonin p\u00ebr zhvi-<br \/>\nllimin e arsimit dhe mbajtjen e<br \/>\nshkoll\u00ebs s\u00eb fshatit, nd\u00ebrsa pjesa tje-<br \/>\nt\u00ebr p\u00ebr kultivimin e artit e t\u00eb kultu-<br \/>\nr\u00ebs, p\u00ebr vepra filantropike e sociale<br \/>\ndhe p\u00ebr nevojat e vet\u00eb manasti-<br \/>\nrit.
