Pasi banor\u00ebt e<br \/>\nfshatrave t\u00eb Shpiragut u larguan n\u00eb<br \/>\nmas\u00eb t\u00eb gjer\u00eb drejt qyteteve t\u00eb<br \/>\nm\u00ebdha t\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb, ati i nderuar<br \/>\nvendosi t\u00eb banonte n\u00eb Berat, pra-<br \/>\nn\u00eb familjes s\u00eb djalit t\u00eb tij dhe \u00e7do t\u00eb<br \/>\ndiel e t\u00eb kremte shkonte m\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00eb<br \/>\np\u00ebr t\u00eb meshuar n\u00eb kishat e zon\u00ebs,<br \/>\nndon\u00ebse tashm\u00eb ishte n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb<br \/>\nthyer.<br \/>\nN\u00eb vitin 1964 hirotoniset epi-<br \/>\nskop dhe fron\u00ebzohet Mitropolit i<br \/>\nMitropolis\u00eb s\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb Beratit,<br \/>\nVlor\u00ebs, Kanin\u00ebs dhe i t\u00eb gjith\u00eb<br \/>\nMyzeqes\u00eb.<br \/>\nMe p\u00ebrvoj\u00ebn e tij shum\u00eb t\u00eb gjat\u00eb,<br \/>\nme horizontin e gjithansh\u00ebm, me<br \/>\nmpreht\u00ebsin\u00eb e gjykimit t\u00eb shum\u00eb<br \/>\n\u00e7\u00ebshtjeve fetare, me p\u00ebrul\u00ebsin\u00eb e<br \/>\nmadhe ndaj Krishtit Per\u00ebndi, Imzot<br \/>\nSpiro Theodhor Papa udh\u00ebhoqi me<br \/>\nurt\u00ebsi p\u00ebr gati tre vjet Dioqez\u00ebn e<br \/>\nBeratit, duke fituar kudo respektin<br \/>\ne besimtar\u00ebve othodhoks\u00eb.<br \/>\nShkurtin e vitit 1967, kur u nda-<br \/>\nluan me dhun\u00eb sh\u00ebrbesat n\u00eb t\u00eb<br \/>\ngjitha objektet fetare, ai e p\u00ebrjetoi<br \/>\nme dhimbje t\u00eb thell\u00eb n\u00eb zem\u00ebr, aq<br \/>\nsa dhe e humbi p\u00ebrgjithmon\u00eb shi-<br \/>\nkimin. Ai u mbyll n\u00eb sht\u00ebpi dhe nuk<br \/>\npranoi t\u00eb dilte pa mjek\u00ebr dhe pa<br \/>\nrrobat e shenjta t\u00eb klerikut.
