N\u00eb dat\u00ebn 10 prill 2017, u nda
\nnga jeta studiuesi i njohur ortho-
\ndhoks i gjeografis\u00eb dhe demo-
\ngrafis\u00eb, prof. dr. Arqile B\u00ebrxholi.
\nAi \u00ebsht\u00eb autor i mbi 20 librave dhe
\ni dhjet\u00ebra studimeve, t\u00eb botuara
\nedhe n\u00eb disa gjuh\u00eb t\u00eb huaja.
\nZ. Arqile B\u00ebrxholi lindi m\u00eb 3
\nshkurt t\u00eb vitit 1943 dhe u diplomua
\nn\u00eb deg\u00ebn Histori-Gjeografi t\u00eb Fa-
\nkultetit t\u00eb Historis\u00eb dhe Filologjis\u00eb
\nn\u00eb Universitetin e Tiran\u00ebs n\u00eb vitin
\n1967. N\u00eb p\u00ebrfundim t\u00eb studimeve
\nu em\u00ebrua drejtor n\u00eb shkoll\u00ebn 8-vje-
\n\u00e7are \u201cMisto Mame\u201d n\u00eb Gjirokast\u00ebr.
\nPas k\u00ebsaj u em\u00ebrua n\u00eb Katedr\u00ebn e
\nGjeografis\u00eb, n\u00eb Fakultetin e His-
\ntoris\u00eb dhe Filologjis\u00eb n\u00eb Tiran\u00eb, si
\npedagog i l\u00ebnd\u00ebs \u201cGjeografi eko-
\nnomike e Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb\u201d. Z. B\u00ebrxholi
\nka qen\u00eb p\u00ebr shum\u00eb vjet Drejtor i
\nInstitutit t\u00eb Gjeografis\u00eb t\u00eb Akade-
\nmis\u00eb s\u00eb Shkencave. Ai ka dh\u00ebn\u00eb
\nU nda nga jeta prof. dr. Arqile B\u00ebrxholi
\nnj\u00eb kontribut t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsish\u00ebm edhe
\nn\u00eb p\u00ebrgatitjen e Fjalorit Enciklo-
\npedik Shqiptar. Vitet e fundit, kra-
\nhas studimeve, punoi si pedagog n\u00eb
\nUniversitetin e Elbasanit.
\nP\u00ebr studimet e tij mori tituj
\nshkencor\u00eb, si: \u201cDocent\u201d, \u201cDoktor i
\nShkencave\u201d, \u201cMjesht\u00ebr K\u00ebrki-
\nmesh\u201d, \u201cDrejtues K\u00ebrkimesh\u201d dhe
\n\u201cProfesor\u201d. Gjat\u00eb karrier\u00ebs s\u00eb tij
\nakademike ka realizuar nj\u00eb seri
\nstudimesh n\u00eb fush\u00ebn e gjeografis\u00eb
\ns\u00eb popullsis\u00eb, t\u00eb gjeografis\u00eb sociale,
\nt\u00eb mjedisit si dhe t\u00eb asaj urbane.
\nN\u00eb studimet p\u00ebr mjedisin jan\u00eb rea-
\nlizuar dhe atlase t\u00eb ve\u00e7anta, si dhe
\nzonifikime p\u00ebrkat\u00ebse. Ai punoi p\u00ebr
\n45 vjet n\u00eb fush\u00ebn e m\u00ebsimdh\u00ebnies
\nn\u00eb shkoll\u00ebn e lart\u00eb dhe n\u00eb at\u00eb k\u00ebrki-
\nmore-shkencore. Gjat\u00eb k\u00ebsaj kohe
\nrealizoi edhe nj\u00eb seri botimesh me
\nkarakter shkencor-popullor, si dhe
\ntekste e programe shkollore t\u00eb ni-
\nveleve nga m\u00eb t\u00eb ndryshmet.
\nSi besimtar orthodhoks, me
\norigjin\u00eb nga nj\u00eb familje klerik\u00ebsh,
\nai ka marr\u00eb pjes\u00eb aktivisht n\u00eb ve-
\nprimtarit\u00eb e Lidhjes s\u00eb Intelektua-
\nl\u00ebve Orthodhoks\u00eb dhe t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs
\nson\u00eb n\u00eb p\u00ebrgjith\u00ebsi, ku mund t\u00eb
\np\u00ebrmendim botimin dhe promo-

\nOrthodhokse n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri\u201d, referatin
\n\u201cRoli i komunitetit orthodhoks n\u00eb
\npavar\u00ebsin\u00eb dhe stabilizimin e shtetit
\nshqiptar\u201d, n\u00eb Asamblen\u00eb Kleriko-
\nLaike, n\u00eb shtator 2014, gjykime p\u00ebr
