Ai ishte biri i haxhi Lluk\u00ebs dhe Lurdan\u00ebs. Kur u rrit, shkoi t\u00eb punonte si tregtar n\u00eb Egjipt. N\u00eb nj\u00eb dit\u00eb feste, ai u deh dhe shok\u00ebt e tij mysliman\u00eb e bind\u00ebn t\u00eb mohonte besimin dhe t\u00eb pranonte fen\u00eb islame. Kur erdhi n\u00eb vete, e kuptoi se \u00e7far\u00eb m\u00ebkati kishte b\u00ebr\u00eb. E brente s\u00eb tep\u00ebrmi nd\u00ebrgjegjja. K\u00ebrkoi mjaft et\u00ebr shpirt\u00ebror\u00eb q\u00eb t\u00eb rr\u00ebfehej dhe t\u00eb gjente m\u00ebnyra pendimi.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00ebr disa koh\u00eb ai jetoi i ve\u00e7uar n\u00eb nj\u00eb manastir n\u00eb ishullin Hios. Pasi kreshmoi, b\u00ebri agripni dhe derdhi shum\u00eb lot pendimi. Ati shpirt\u00ebror e rifuti n\u00eb Kish\u00eb me an\u00eb t\u00eb lutjes s\u00eb faljes, duke e mirosur me Miro t\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb dhe duke e kunguar me Misteret e Shenjta. Por ushtari trim i Krishtit nuk mund t\u00eb k\u00ebnaqej vet\u00ebm me p\u00ebrmbushjen e plot\u00eb t\u00eb pendimit t\u00eb tij, ai donte bashkimin me Krishtin me an\u00eb t\u00eb martirizimit.<\/p>\n<p>Mori bekimin p\u00ebr t\u00eb shkuar n\u00eb Efesin e Ri t\u00eb Azis\u00eb s\u00eb Vog\u00ebl dhe u paraqit p\u00ebrpara kadiut, gjykat\u00ebsit otoman, duke i th\u00ebn\u00eb atij se vite m\u00eb par\u00eb e kishte mohuar besimin e krishter\u00eb, por tani ishte kthyer p\u00ebrs\u00ebri tek ai dhe donte t\u00eb vuante d\u00ebnimin e parashikuar nga ligji n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb rast. Gjykat\u00ebsi, nuk ishte shum\u00eb i interesuar n\u00eb \u00e7\u00ebshtje fetare dhe pa u shqet\u00ebsuar nga ngulmimi i Polidhorit, i tha t\u00eb shkonte e t\u00eb b\u00ebnte \u00e7far\u00eb i p\u00eblqente. Por martiri ishte i vendosur n\u00eb pohimin e Krishtit si i vetmi Shp\u00ebtimtar, k\u00ebshtu q\u00eb e fut\u00ebn n\u00eb burg, ku ia fut\u00ebn k\u00ebmb\u00ebt n\u00eb nj\u00eb mors\u00eb druri.<\/p>\n<p>Dit\u00ebn tjet\u00ebr u paraqit p\u00ebrs\u00ebri p\u00ebrpara gjykat\u00ebs, duke iu p\u00ebrgjigjur pyetjeve me qet\u00ebsi. Kur gjykat\u00ebsi d\u00ebshtoi n\u00eb p\u00ebrpjekjet p\u00ebr ta bindur t\u00eb ndryshonte mendje, vendosi ta d\u00ebnonte me varje dhe prej andej e d\u00ebrgoi n\u00eb vendin e ekzekutimit, t\u00eb shoq\u00ebruar nga nj\u00eb turm\u00eb e madhe njer\u00ebzish.
