Aty u lidh me organizatat patriotike shqiptare n\u00eb m\u00ebrgim. N\u00eb dat\u00ebn 5 n\u00ebntor 1912, Spiridon T. Ilo do t\u00eb marr\u00eb pjes\u00eb n\u00eb mbledhjen e mbajtur n\u00eb hotel \u201cKontinental\u201d t\u00eb Bukureshtit, dhe t\u00eb drejtuar nga Ismail Qemali. N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb mbledhje u vendos shpallja e pavar\u00ebsis\u00eb s\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb. Sipas informa- cionit t\u00eb djalit t\u00eb tij, Spiridon T. Ilo mori flamurin shqiptar q\u00eb zbukuronte sall\u00ebn dhe e solli at\u00eb n\u00eb Vlor\u00eb. M\u00eb 27 n\u00ebntor 1912, ai q\u00ebndroi n\u00eb sht\u00ebpin\u00eb e tezes s\u00eb tij Marigo Pozio. Marigo Pozio i qepi k\u00ebtij flamuri nj\u00eb radh\u00eb thek\u00ebsh dhe b\u00ebri disa ndryshime tek shqiponja. Ky flamur u ngrit n\u00eb Vlor\u00eb m\u00eb 28 N\u00ebntor 1912. Spiridon T.
