Gjat\u00eb p\u00ebrndjekjeve, kur zbuloi besimin e tij, u torturua nga perandori Dioklecian (284-305).<\/p>\n<p>E shpuan me shtiz\u00eb, e shtyp\u00ebn me gur\u00eb dhe e kaluan n\u00eb \u201crrot\u00eb\u201d (At\u00eb<\/p>\n<p>q\u00eb torturonin e lidhnin t\u00eb tendosur mbi nj\u00eb rrot\u00eb. Kur rrota rrotullohej trupi shqyhej nga thikat dhe ganxhat t\u00eb vendosura posht\u00eb vertikalisht).<\/p>\n<p>Nd\u00ebrkaq nj\u00eb engj\u00ebll e shp\u00ebtoi, k\u00eb- shtu q\u00eb besuan shum\u00eb veta dhe ua pren\u00eb kokat. U ndri\u00e7uan m\u00eb shum\u00eb njer\u00ebz sapo doli p\u00ebrs\u00ebri i paprekur nga nj\u00eb grop\u00eb g\u00eblqereje.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eb pas i mbath\u00ebn k\u00ebpuc\u00eb hekuri t\u00eb skuqur me gozhd\u00eb nga brenda dhe e detyruan t\u00eb ecte, u rrah me k\u00ebrba\u00e7 dhe iu dha helmi i magjistarit Atha- nas, t\u00eb cilit iu pre koka, sepse u kthye duke e par\u00eb at\u00eb t\u00eb mos d\u00ebmtohet, dhe bile t\u00eb ngrej\u00eb nj\u00eb t\u00eb vdekur.<\/p>\n<p>Ngjalli nj\u00eb ka t\u00eb bujkut t\u00eb varf\u00ebr, Gliqeri. Bujkun e varf\u00ebr e ther\u00ebn. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn m\u00ebnyr\u00eb u konvertua dhe mbret\u00ebresha Aleksandra (21 prill).<\/p>\n<p>S\u00eb fundi, d\u00ebshmori i madh n\u00eb vend q\u00eb t\u2019iu falej idhujve t\u00eb nj\u00eb tempulli, i b\u00ebri q\u00eb t\u00eb thyhen p\u00ebrtok\u00eb n\u00eb prani t\u00eb monarkut, i cili i turp\u00ebruar dha urdh\u00ebr dhe ia pren\u00eb kok\u00ebn.<\/p>\n<p>Nat\u00ebn n\u00eb burg Trofeprur\u00ebsi kishte par\u00eb n\u00eb \u00ebnd\u00ebrr Zotin ta kuror\u00ebzonte, k\u00ebshtu q\u00eb e kuptoi dhe porositi sh\u00ebr- b\u00ebtorin e tij q\u00eb ta varrosnin n\u00eb Lida (sipas t\u00eb tjer\u00ebve u martirizua atje).<\/p>\n<p>Sipas nj\u00eb tradite vrau nj\u00eb dragua, i cili nuk lejonte q\u00eb t\u00eb merrnin uj\u00eb nga liqeni, af\u00ebr t\u00eb cilit kishte strofk\u00ebn, vet\u00ebm n\u00eb rast se i jepnin njer\u00ebz p\u00ebr ushqim!<\/p>\n<p>Stratillati (= kryegjenerali) i shu- m\u00ebhimnizuar dhe shum\u00ebmrekulli- b\u00ebr\u00ebs, u nderua kudo qysh her\u00ebt, nd\u00ebrsa kishat e tij u nd\u00ebrtuan q\u00eb n\u00eb shek. e 4-t.
