N\u00eb vitin 1988 u ngrit n\u00eb rang Arqiepiskopi.<\/p>\n<p>Jo shum\u00eb i njohur n\u00eb sken\u00ebn nd\u00ebrkomb\u00ebtare, n\u00eb vitin 1992 ai do protestonte publikisht kund\u00ebr masave diskriminuese kund\u00ebr orthodhoks\u00ebve t\u00eb Sllovakis\u00eb, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt u detyruan t\u00eb dor\u00ebzonin tek uniat\u00ebt shum\u00eb objekte kulti, edhe aty ku ishin shumic\u00eb, si dhe p\u00ebr mosdh\u00ebnien e lejes p\u00ebr nd\u00ebrtimin e kishave t\u00eb reja.
