U lind n\u00eb ishullin e Kret\u00ebs rreth viteve 1770-1775, prej prind\u00ebrve t\u00eb drejt\u00eb dhe fisnik\u00eb. Q\u00eb i vog\u00ebl ishte i padjall\u00ebzuar, i dlir\u00eb, tep\u00ebr i men\u00e7ur dhe me nj\u00eb bukuri mahnit\u00ebse. Ushtronte profesionin e rrobaqep\u00ebsit n\u00eb punishten e vet, ku banor\u00ebt muhamedan\u00eb vinin, se u p\u00eblqente shoq\u00ebria e tij.<\/p>\n

Por, disa shpirtk\u00ebqinj ndjen\u00eb zili p\u00ebr paraqitjen e tij, thjesht\u00ebsin\u00eb dhe urt\u00ebsin\u00eb dhe iu vun\u00eb p\u00ebr ta islamizuar. K\u00ebshtu, nxit\u00ebn nj\u00eb djalosh turk p\u00ebr t\u00eb shpifur se gjoja ai kishte abuzuar ndaj tij… Menj\u00ebher\u00eb e padit\u00ebn tek gjykat\u00ebsi i sheriatit, duke g\u00ebnjyer se ai kishte marr\u00eb guximin dhe kishte p\u00ebrdhunuar nj\u00eb turk t\u00eb mitur! Ai e kund\u00ebrshtoi bindsh\u00ebm akuz\u00ebn, por horrat ngulmonin t\u00eb ngritur n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00eb, duke thirrur, q\u00eb ose t\u00eb nd\u00ebrronte bes\u00eb ose t\u00eb vdiste. T\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn gj\u00eb i propozoi edhe gjykat\u00ebsi, por vendosm\u00ebria e tij i mbylli goj\u00ebn. Urdh\u00ebroi dhe e rrah\u00ebn me shkopinj dhe e burgos\u00ebn.<\/p>\n

N\u00eb nj\u00eb hetim t\u00eb dyt\u00eb, i propozuan ose vdekje t\u00eb dhimbshme dhe posht\u00ebruese, ose ndere dhe dhurata. Nga q\u00ebndrimi i tij varej, se cil\u00ebn nga t\u00eb dyja do t\u00eb zgjidhte. I than\u00eb q\u00eb t’i vinte keq rinin\u00eb e tij. Ai thirri se nuk e shiste besimin q\u00eb kishte! Dhe u d\u00ebnua. Duke e \u00e7uar p\u00ebr ekzekutim jasht\u00eb qytetit, t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve q\u00eb takonte, ashtu si dhe neomartir\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00eb, u thoshte: “M\u00eb ndjeni, o v\u00ebllez\u00ebr, dhe Per\u00ebndia ju ndjeft\u00eb ju!”. K\u00ebrkoi leje dhe shkoi tek i ati, Dhimit\u00ebr, q\u00eb e ndiqte duke vajtuar. I puthi k\u00ebmb\u00ebt dhe duart, i mori urat\u00ebn dhe e ngush\u00eblloi duke i th\u00ebn\u00eb, se po e vrisnin padrejt\u00ebsisht. Pastaj iu drejtua xhelat\u00ebve, duke u th\u00ebn\u00eb q\u00eb ta varnin. Nat\u00ebn rojet myslimane t\u00eb port\u00ebs s\u00eb qytetit pan\u00eb nj\u00eb drit\u00eb qiellore tek lipsani i varur dhe pat\u00ebn burr\u00ebrin\u00eb ta p\u00ebrhapin k\u00ebt\u00eb gj\u00eb.<\/p>\n

Jehona u p\u00ebrhap shpejt kudo, p\u00ebrderisa e p\u00ebrfshiu Sh\u00ebn Nikodhimi (14 qershor) n\u00eb Martirologjin e Ri, q\u00eb qarkulloi n\u00eb vitin 1799, pra vet\u00ebm gjasht\u00eb vjet pas martirizimit t\u00eb tij (1793). Djali q\u00eb mashtroi gjeti nj\u00eb vdekje t\u00eb frikshme n\u00eb vitin 1821.<\/p>\n
