Filizi i lutjeve t\u00eb pasanik\u00ebve pa f\u00ebmij\u00eb Angjelos dhe Siriga Venizelu. Lindi n\u00eb Athin\u00eb, n\u00eb vitin 1522 dhe mori nj\u00eb kultur\u00eb t\u00eb pazakont\u00eb. N\u00eb mosh\u00ebn 14-vje\u00e7are, e detyruar nga t\u00eb af\u00ebrmit, u martua dhe pas tre vjet\u00ebsh mbeti e ve. Pasi i vdiq\u00ebn dhe prind\u00ebrit, tashm\u00eb e \u00e7liruar nga detyrimet familjare, ktheu n\u00eb manastir nj\u00eb kish\u00eb t\u00eb vog\u00ebl t\u00eb sh\u00ebn Andreas aty af\u00ebr, duke e dhuruar t\u00eb gjith\u00eb pasurin\u00eb e saj (rreth vitit 1550).<\/p>\n

N\u00eb dor\u00ebzimin murgesh\u00eb nd\u00ebrroi emrin nga Regula n\u00eb Filothei dhe u b\u00eb igumene, duke patur n\u00eb fillim si bind\u00ebse sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtoret e saj dhe m\u00eb pas shum\u00eb t\u00eb reja t\u00eb kulturuara t\u00eb Athin\u00ebs. Me investimet e saj dhe kontributin e besimtar\u00ebve nd\u00ebrtoi nj\u00eb punishte, organizoi shkolla, ngriti spitale, strukturoi bujtina pa pages\u00eb dhe institucione t\u00eb tjera filantropike, sa brenda n\u00eb manastir, po aq dhe n\u00eb anekset e tij dhe n\u00eb metoqet e jashtme. Ky institucion i shenjt\u00eb u tregua, tashm\u00eb nj\u00eb qend\u00ebr bamir\u00ebsie, rrezatimi shpirt\u00ebror dhe ngush\u00ebllimi p\u00ebr rajan\u00eb. Aristokratja murgesh\u00eb frym\u00ebzoi besimin p\u00ebr Krishtin dhe atdhedashurin\u00eb. Mbrojti sidomos athinjotet nga arbitrariteti i pushtuesve barbar\u00eb.<\/p>\n

T\u00eb indinjuar nga veprimtaria e saj, e burgos\u00ebn, sepse fshehu kat\u00ebr gra, t\u00eb cilat i shtynin p\u00ebr t\u00eb nd\u00ebrruar besimin. Me nd\u00ebrhyrjen e dhimogjerondis\u00eb e lirojn\u00eb, por n\u00eb 2 tetor 1588 turqit m\u00ebsyjn\u00eb dhe e arrestojn\u00eb gjat\u00eb koh\u00ebs s\u00eb agripnis\u00eb. E godasin aq shum\u00eb, sa n\u00eb fund vdiq nga plag\u00ebt, n\u00eb 19 shkurt 1589.<\/p>\n

Lipsani i shenjt\u00eb i saj ndodhet n\u00eb kish\u00ebn katedrale t\u00eb kryeqytetit grek. N\u00eb shenj\u00eb mir\u00ebnjohjeje p\u00ebr t\u00eb, Athina ju ka dh\u00ebn\u00eb tre lagjeve t\u00eb saj emra q\u00eb kan\u00eb lidhje me shenjtoren.<\/p>\n
