N\u00eb kuadrin e ekspozit\u00ebs kushtuar “Thesareve t\u00eb artit bizantin”, q\u00eb hapi portat n\u00eb muzeun METROPOLITAN t\u00eb New Jorkut, u zhvillua nj\u00eb pritje, n\u00eb favor t\u00eb fondacionit “Sh\u00ebn Katerina”, q\u00eb merret me ruajtjen e Manastirit orthodhoks t\u00eb Malit Sina. N\u00eb t\u00eb mor\u00ebn pjes\u00eb ish-presidenti Bush, Sekretari i p\u00ebrgjithsh\u00ebm i OKB, Kofi Annan, princi Sumaja i Jordanis\u00eb etj., n\u00eb krah t\u00eb arqepiskopit Damian t\u00eb Sinait dhe kryeepiskopit Spiridhon t\u00eb New Jorkut, primat i Kish\u00ebs Orthodhokse t\u00eb Amerik\u00ebs.<\/p>\n

Fondacioni Sh\u00ebn Katerina, q\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb n\u00ebn patronazhin e princit Karl t\u00eb Britanis\u00eb s\u00eb Madhe, \u00ebsht\u00eb krijuar m\u00eb 1996, me q\u00ebllimin e ruajtjes s\u00eb pasurive t\u00eb pa\u00e7mueshme t\u00eb manastirit 1500 vje\u00e7ar. Koleksion i librave e dor\u00ebshkrimeve t\u00eb manastirit, konsiderohet p\u00ebr nga r\u00ebnd\u00ebsia si i dyti pas atij t\u00eb Vatikanit. Manastiri ka edhe disa nga ikonat m\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishme, shum\u00eb prej t\u00eb cilave t\u00eb para kriz\u00ebs dhe shkat\u00ebrrimeve t\u00eb shkaktuara nga herezia ikonoklaste, pa p\u00ebrmendur afresket e mahnitshme t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb 6-t\u00eb.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
