Instituti Teologjik i Halkit u ngrit m\u00eb 1844 e u b\u00eb nj\u00eb qend\u00ebr teologjike me r\u00ebnd\u00ebsi dhe nj\u00eb fener i Orthodhoksis\u00eb. M\u00eb 28 gusht u mbush\u00ebn 152 vjet nga themelimi i k\u00ebtij instituti, i cili prej 25-vjet\u00ebsh, nuk funksionon, i mbyllur nga qeveria turke.<\/p>\n

R\u00ebnd\u00ebsia e ve\u00e7ant\u00eb e Institutit, q\u00eb e shquan nd\u00ebr shkollat e tjera teologjike Orthodhokse, q\u00ebndron n\u00eb karakterin e tij ekumenik. Ai s’ka qen\u00eb thjesht nj\u00eb institut kulturor shpirt\u00ebror p\u00ebr t\u00eb mbuluar nevojat p\u00ebr klerik\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb. Por ka qen\u00eb nj\u00ebkoh\u00ebsisht dhe qendra m\u00eb kryesore e studimeve dhe k\u00ebrkimeve teologjike p\u00ebr nevojat e brendshme e t\u00eb jashtme t\u00eb Patrikan\u00ebs Ekumenike (si\u00e7 jan\u00eb p.sh. p\u00ebrballimi i problemeve t\u00eb ndryshme teologjike, botimi i revistave teologjike, teksteve biblike e liturgjike, puna konsultative n\u00ebp\u00ebr komisionet e ndrysh\u00ebm sinodike etj.), p\u00ebr mbajtjen dhe deshmin\u00eb e besimit t\u00eb past\u00ebr orthodhoks, kund\u00ebrshtimin e sistemeve filozofike antikristiane proselitizmit katolik e protestant, q\u00eb sulmonte dhe sulmoi orthodhoksin\u00eb e t\u00eb tjera. Biblioteka e tij e pasur dhe e sinkronizuar, i sh\u00ebrbeu nj\u00eb edukimi bashk\u00ebkohor n\u00eb gjith\u00eb deg\u00ebt e teologjis\u00eb.<\/p>\n

M\u00eb 1994 u kremtua 150 vjetori i themelimit t\u00eb tij, me manifestime t\u00eb ndryshme kulturore, q\u00eb u kuror\u00ebzuan me Mesh\u00ebn Hyjnore. N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb p\u00ebrvjetor mori pjes\u00eb dhe Kisha jon\u00eb Orthodhokse Autoqefale, e p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsuar nga Fortlumturia e Tij Anastas, si shprehje e mir\u00ebnjohjes p\u00ebr nj\u00eb s\u00ebr\u00eb kuadrosh shqiptar\u00eb q\u00eb jan\u00eb p\u00ebrgatitur diplomuar n\u00eb t\u00eb dhe kan\u00eb sh\u00ebrbyer me dinjitet, qoft\u00eb si hierark\u00eb e klerik\u00eb, qoft\u00eb si laik\u00eb (profesor\u00eb universiteti e shkollash t\u00eb mesme).<\/p>\n

M\u00eb posht\u00eb po japim edhe nj\u00eb list\u00eb me disa nga shqiptar\u00ebt e diplomuar n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb Institut.<\/p>\n

\n– Stefan Suli nga Kor\u00e7a. U diplomua m\u00eb 1872. Tema e diplom\u00ebs: “Mbi pagabueshm\u00ebrin\u00eb e Pap\u00ebs q\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb gabim”. Sh\u00ebrbeu si Arkidhiakon i disa mitropolive.
\n– Vasil Papakristo nga Labova e Kryqit. Tema e diplom\u00ebs (1882): “Kund\u00ebr pag\u00ebzimit me sp\u00ebrkatje.” Mitropolit i Gjirokastr\u00ebs.
\n– Joaqim Martiniani nga Voskopoja. U diplomua m\u00eb 1898. Tema: “Me t\u00eb drejt\u00eb Kisha Orthodhokse e Lindjes e shpalli Kostandinin e Madh t\u00eb barabart\u00eb me Apostujt”. Mitropolit i Beratit.
\n– Harailamb Donati nga P\u00ebrmeti. Diplomuar m\u00eb 1903. Profesor laik.
\n– Jorgji Ikonomidhi nga Gjirokastra. Diplomuar m\u00eb 1904. Tema: “Zbritja e Zotit n\u00eb Ferr”. Profesor dhe prift n\u00eb Stamboll dhe m\u00eb von\u00eb n\u00eb Amerik\u00eb.
\n– Dhimit\u00ebr Bainiku, nga Hllomoja e Pogonit. Diplomuar m\u00eb 1905. Tema: “Mbi marr\u00ebdh\u00ebniet e Joan Gojartit me oborrin Bizantin”. Prift n\u00eb Stamboll e m\u00eb von\u00eb n\u00eb Amerik\u00eb.
\n– Kristofor Kissi nga Berati. Diplomuar m\u00eb 1906. Tema: “Mbi prejardhjen e jet\u00ebs monakale”. Profesor n\u00eb Kor\u00e7\u00eb. Prift dhe profesor n\u00eb Pera t\u00eb Stambollit. Kryefamulltar n\u00eb Makrohor t\u00eb Stambollit. Episkop i Sinad\u00ebs. Kryepiskop i Tiran\u00ebs.
