N\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb kishte shum\u00eb qytete me k\u00ebt\u00eb em\u00ebr, k\u00ebshtu q\u00eb s&#8217;\u00ebsht\u00eb e sigurt p\u00ebr cilin \u00ebsht\u00eb fjala; ndoshta \u00ebsht\u00eb qyteti q\u00eb ndodhej n\u00eb brigjet e Palestin\u00ebs. Pavli, si anagnost i kish\u00ebs, u lexonte besimtar\u00ebve Ungjillin e shtrenjt\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb dhe u mbyllte goj\u00ebn me mjesht\u00ebri idhujtar\u00ebve. Xhelat\u00ebve t\u00eb tyre Kodrati dhe Akaki u erdhi keq, madje besuan edhe ata te Krishti dhe p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb iu pre koka.<\/p>\n<p>Mot\u00ebr e v\u00eblla riburgosen t\u00eb lidhur me hekura, por u zgjidh\u00ebn prej nj\u00eb engj\u00eblli dhe mor\u00ebn ushqim. Meq\u00ebn\u00ebse edhe pas k\u00ebsaj nuk iu zbeh dashuria p\u00ebr Per\u00ebndinjeriun, u var\u00ebn p\u00ebrs\u00ebri dhe u rrah\u00ebn n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb rr\u00ebnqeth\u00ebse. Xhelatit, Stratonikut, i erdhi keq p\u00ebr shenjtoren, e cila e nxiste t&#8217;i bindej mbretit dhe t&#8217;ia zbatonte urdh\u00ebrat. Edhe ai pranoi Krishtin, ndaj i pren\u00eb kok\u00ebn. Do t&#8217;i q\u00ebllonin me gur\u00eb, n\u00eb qoft\u00eb se nj\u00eb re nuk do t\u00eb l\u00ebshonte flak\u00eb mbi tiranin, i cili u frik\u00ebsua dhe i nxori q\u00eb andej! Megjithat\u00eb ai i dogji n\u00eb fytyr\u00eb e n\u00eb trup me llambadh\u00eb dhe u preu trupin cop\u00eb-cop\u00eb.
