Kristo ishte nj\u00eb shqiptar q\u00eb banonte n\u00eb Stamboll. Ka mund\u00ebsi q\u00eb t\u00eb ishte nga P\u00ebrmeti, sepse atje gjendej n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb nj\u00eb komunitet i madh p\u00ebrmetar\u00ebsh, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt punonin si kopshtar\u00eb dhe bah\u00e7evan\u00eb. Nuk dim\u00eb shum\u00eb rreth jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tij n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri, por dim\u00eb vet\u00ebm se ishte 40 vje\u00e7 kur la Shqip\u00ebrin\u00eb dhe shkoi n\u00eb Stamboll, ku filloi t\u00eb punonte si kopshtar.<\/p>\n

Nj\u00eb dit\u00eb ai po shiste fruta n\u00eb pazar dhe nj\u00eb turk donte t’i blinte t\u00eb gjitha moll\u00ebt; por ata nuk ran\u00eb n\u00eb ujdi p\u00ebr \u00e7mimin. Kristo nuk pranoi t’ia shiste moll\u00ebt me at\u00eb \u00e7mim qesharak q\u00eb k\u00ebrkonte turku. K\u00ebshtu q\u00eb ky turk kapadai u zem\u00ebrua dhe p\u00ebr hakmarrje shpifi kund\u00ebr Kristos s\u00eb drejt\u00eb, duke th\u00ebn\u00eb se ai d\u00ebshironte t\u00eb b\u00ebhej mysliman. Dhe turku, i ndihmuar nga disa shok\u00eb t\u00eb tij e kapi Kriston dhe me forc\u00eb e \u00e7oi n\u00eb gjyq. Ai s\u00eb bashku me shok\u00ebt e tij, d\u00ebshmitar\u00eb t\u00eb rrem\u00eb, d\u00ebshmuan padrejt\u00ebsisht q\u00eb Kristo donte t\u00eb b\u00ebhej mysliman. Gjykat\u00ebsi e pyeti martirin n\u00eb lidhje me k\u00ebt\u00eb \u00e7\u00ebshtje. Ai u p\u00ebrgjigj me burr\u00ebri q\u00eb ishte i krishter\u00eb dhe q\u00eb kurr\u00eb nuk kishte menduar t\u00eb mohonte fen\u00eb e shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00eb dhe q\u00eb askush nuk mund ta detyronte q\u00eb t\u00eb shkelte fen\u00eb e t\u00eb par\u00ebve, sikur t\u00eb mblidheshin edhe nj\u00ebmij\u00eb dreq\u00ebr.<\/p>\n

Gjykat\u00ebsi kur d\u00ebgjoi k\u00ebto fjal\u00eb urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb shenjti t\u00eb rrihej ashp\u00ebr me kamzhik. Mbasi e rrah\u00ebn n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb \u00e7njer\u00ebzore, at\u00eb e godit\u00ebn aq r\u00ebnd\u00eb n\u00eb kok\u00eb me nj\u00eb dru sa q\u00eb i shkaktuan nj\u00eb \u00e7arje t\u00eb madhe. Pastaj e \u00e7uan n\u00eb burg t\u00eb lidhur dhe ia vun\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00ebt n\u00eb pranga t\u00eb r\u00ebnda druri. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb ishte n\u00eb burg edhe murgu i njohur Qezar Daponte (i cili shkroi edhe martirizimin e tij). Ai, kur e pa martirin n\u00eb at\u00eb gjendje, i dha kurajo dhe fshehtaz mundi t’ia \u00e7lironte k\u00ebmb\u00ebt nga ajo mors\u00eb torturuese. Ai i afroi Kristos pak ushqim q\u00eb t\u00eb merrte pak fuqi, por martiri nuk pranoi duke th\u00ebn\u00eb: “P\u00ebrse duhet t\u00eb ha? Un\u00eb nuk kam m\u00eb shpres\u00eb t\u00eb jetoj. Prandaj do t\u00eb jet\u00eb m\u00eb mir\u00eb t\u00eb vdes p\u00ebr Krishtin tim i etur dhe i uritur”.<\/p>\n

Pastaj martiri i dha murgut disa monedha, t\u00eb cilat i kishte n\u00eb brez duke ju lutur q\u00eb t’i linte n\u00eb kish\u00eb dhe kur t\u00eb meshonin ta kujtonin at\u00eb mbas vdekjes. Nuk vonoi shum\u00eb dhe erdh\u00ebn xhelat\u00ebt dhe e mor\u00ebn. N\u00eb nj\u00eb vend jasht\u00eb burgut i pren\u00eb kok\u00ebn. I t\u00ebr\u00eb martirizimi i tij ndodhi n\u00eb nj\u00eb dit\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu, i bekuari Kristo, mori kuror\u00ebn e martirit n\u00eb 12 shkurt t\u00eb vitit 1748. Nga lipsanet e tij u b\u00ebn\u00eb shum\u00eb mrekulli. Zoti i nderon kurdoher\u00eb shenjt\u00ebt dhe martir\u00ebt e tij.<\/p>\n
