Sonte, presin fetaret te premten e zeze nen hene
\nTek kjo kishe ortodokse, dikur e shembur, ne Tirane
\nKu shenjtore e Perendi na kishin lene
\nSe, zot u bene, ca politikane – ca pehlivane.<\/p>\n

Sonte, kur shpirt i pavdekur i Zotit Krisht u gozhdua
\nI atij, qe, mbi veten e tij – njerezit i ka dashur
\nPlot dhimbje e brenge ky procesion ortodoks – u hutua
\nVertet e humbi te riten per ne – ndaj epoke ka hapur.<\/p>\n

Po iken me trishtim ne lutje – ky procesion ne varg
\nSerishmi ne te vertetat e fese, gjithkush hyri aspak
\nKete harmoni lutjesh ne meshe s’ka kush e prish –
\nc’do gje e renuar, si e ripertrire vjen verdalle – Ma sheh syri.<\/p>\n

Besimtaret vene kembet ne kete truall, ne token amtare,
\njo me te humbur e shpirtvrare.<\/p>\n

Thone nje lutje. Rrine presin menduar, Ate, sot
\nAte, qe qielli lart ua ka marre.
\nKete, qe shoh sot, si bukuri te ralle, as ne enderr s’e kam pare dot.<\/p>\n

I raskapitur prej mundimit, presin te kthehet, Ai
\nQe rri heshtur ne kupen qiellore – perleshur me ligesine
\nI ndare nga njerezit e tjere mbeti qiejve, gozhduar rri
\nVetem, qe te vinte, fati i shenjte, pranvera tokesore per njerezine.<\/p>\n
