I p\u00ebrshpirtsh\u00ebm dhe njoh\u00ebs i Shkrimeve t\u00eb Shenjta, ai priste ardhjen e Mesias. Kur apostull Filipi takoi Zotin, ai shkoi p\u00ebr t\u2019i th\u00ebn\u00eb Nathanailit, se e kishte gjetur At\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb Cilin kishin lajm\u00ebruar Ligji dhe profet\u00ebt: Jisuin e Nazaretit. Nathanaili u \u00e7udit dhe tha: \u201cA mund t\u00eb dal\u00eb ndonj\u00eb gj\u00eb e mir\u00eb nga Nazareti?\u201d. Por, megjithat\u00eb, shkoi p\u00ebr ta takuar Krishtin.<\/p>\n

N\u00eb koh\u00ebn e persekutimit t\u00eb Mark-Aurelit (117), kur pagan\u00ebt besuan se ishin zhdukur tashm\u00eb gjith\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt nga Lioni me martirizimin e sh\u00ebn Potinit dhe shok\u00ebve t\u00eb tij (2 qershor), Aleksandri dhe Epipodi, q\u00eb ishin shok\u00eb shum\u00eb t\u00eb ngusht\u00eb q\u00eb n\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00ebri, u larguan nga qyteti dhe u strehuan n\u00eb nj\u00eb qytez\u00eb te nj\u00eb vejush\u00eb e krishter\u00eb. Por u zbuluan dhe i fut\u00ebn n\u00eb burg e u \u00e7uan te gjykat\u00ebsi. Kur u shpall\u00ebn t\u00eb krishter\u00eb, turma l\u00ebshoi t\u00eb b\u00ebrtitura t\u00eb m\u00ebdha, gjykat\u00ebsi i zem\u00ebruar dha urdh\u00ebr t\u2019i ndanin dhe Epipodin ta torturonin.<\/p>\n

Gjat\u00eb tortur\u00ebs, Epipodi i tha k\u00ebto fjal\u00eb gjykat\u00ebsit: \u201cJeta p\u00ebr t\u00eb cil\u00ebn m\u00eb flet \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb vdekje e p\u00ebrjetshme, dhe vdekja me t\u00eb cil\u00ebn m\u00eb k\u00ebrc\u00ebnon \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb kalim p\u00ebr n\u00eb jet\u00ebn q\u00eb nuk do t\u00eb ket\u00eb kurr\u00eb fund. Ekzekutimet tuaja na dhurojn\u00eb p\u00ebrjet\u00ebsin\u00eb.\u201d Pasi e goditi n\u00eb goj\u00eb, gjykat\u00ebsi dha urdh\u00ebr t\u2019i \u00e7anin brinj\u00ebt me thonj hekuri. Papritur, populli i etur p\u00ebr gjak, k\u00ebrkoi ta lironin k\u00ebt\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00eb, por nga frika se mos shkaktohej ndonj\u00eb revolt\u00eb, gjykat\u00ebsi e ekzekutoi pa vonim sh\u00ebn Epipodin.<\/p>\n

T\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen Aleksandrin provuan ta trembnin duke i kujtuar vuajtjet e shokut t\u00eb tij. Por ai u p\u00ebrgjigj: \u201cTi beson se do t\u00eb m\u00eb frik\u00ebsosh me kujtimin e vuajtjeve q\u00eb shum\u00eb martir\u00eb i duruan? Ta dish se po e ndez d\u00ebshir\u00ebn p\u00ebr t\u2019i ndjekur ata. Emrin e krishter\u00eb, q\u00eb pretendon t\u00eb shuash, do t\u00eb b\u00ebhet me k\u00ebt\u00eb m\u00eb i shk\u00eblqyer!\u201d Gjykat\u00ebsi e goditi pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb bashk\u00eb me tre xhelat\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00eb, pastaj e d\u00ebnoi me kryq\u00ebzim. T\u00eb krishter\u00eb shpres\u00ebtar\u00eb erdh\u00ebn dhe mor\u00ebn trupat e dy martir\u00ebve dhe i fsheh\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb shpell\u00eb p\u00ebrreth Lionit, i cili u b\u00eb i njohur p\u00ebr mrekullit\u00eb q\u00eb kryheshin.<\/p>\n

<\/span>– D\u00ebshmor\u00ebt Rafael, Nikolla Dhe Irini –<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

N\u00eb vitin 1959, gjat\u00eb punimeve q\u00eb po b\u00ebheshin n\u00eb nj\u00eb paraklis t\u00eb vog\u00ebl, q\u00eb ndodhej mbi nj\u00eb kod\u00ebr, af\u00ebr fshatit Thermi, n\u00eb ishullin e Mitilinit, nj\u00eb pun\u00ebtor gjeti nj\u00eb varr me kocka njer\u00ebzish t\u00eb panjohur. Duke qen\u00eb besimpak dhe pa respekt p\u00ebr gj\u00ebrat e shenjta, i la pa kujdes lipsanet rr\u00ebz\u00eb nj\u00eb peme, duke u tallur me to. Por n\u00eb \u00e7ast iu paralizuan duart, t\u00eb cilat mundi t\u2019i l\u00ebvizte p\u00ebrs\u00ebri vet\u00ebm pasi b\u00ebri shenj\u00ebn e kryqit, p\u00ebr her\u00eb t\u00eb par\u00eb pas nj\u00ebzet e shtat\u00eb vjet\u00ebsh. N\u00eb vazhdim, ai pa pran\u00eb kish\u00ebs vet\u00eb shenjtorin dhe u rikthye n\u00eb besim, duke u b\u00ebr\u00eb nj\u00eb predikues i zjarrt\u00eb i hirit t\u00eb k\u00ebtij shenjtori, q\u00eb sapo ishte zbuluar nga Per\u00ebndia. Edhe gruaja e tij ishte d\u00ebshmitare n\u00eb k\u00ebto ngjarje. Q\u00eb para se t\u00eb nd\u00ebrtohej kisha, ajo kishte par\u00eb atje nj\u00eb hieromonak shtatlart\u00eb, por i shoqi e kishte qortuar t\u00eb mos u besonte gj\u00ebrave t\u00eb tilla. Nga ai \u00e7ast, shenjtori u shfaq shum\u00eb her\u00eb, kur ishin n\u00eb gjum\u00eb apo zgjuar, gruas s\u00eb pronarit t\u00eb tok\u00ebs dhe grave t\u00eb tjera t\u00eb devotshme t\u00eb fshatit. Ai iu shfaq ve\u00e7 e ve\u00e7 edhe disa f\u00ebmij\u00ebve e burrave. Disave u shfaqej pa u folur, si nj\u00eb hieromonak i veshur me rrobat e Liturgjis\u00eb ose me rroba murg\u00ebrore. Disa t\u00eb tjer\u00ebve u zbulonte emrin e tij, duke u th\u00ebn\u00eb: \u201cMua m\u00eb quajn\u00eb Rafael!\u201d dhe u b\u00ebnte t\u00eb ditur se kishte mb\u00ebrritur koha p\u00ebr ta nderuar, bashk\u00eb me shok\u00ebt e tij t\u00eb martirizimit, dhe q\u00eb ikona e tyre t\u00eb pikturohej e kujtimi t\u2019u kremtohej t\u00eb Mart\u00ebn e Ndritshme, sepse do t\u00eb b\u00ebnin shum\u00eb mrekulli. T\u00eb tjer\u00ebve u shfaqej n\u00eb shoq\u00ebrin\u00eb e Hyjlind\u00ebses Mari dhe t\u00eb sh\u00ebn Parashqevis\u00eb, duke u treguar martirizimin e tij n\u00eb detaje q\u00eb p\u00ebrputheshin plot\u00ebsisht tek t\u00eb gjith\u00eb besimtar\u00ebt.<\/p>\n

Sh\u00ebn Rafaeli jetoi n\u00eb shek. 15, n\u00eb koh\u00ebn e r\u00ebnies s\u00eb Konstandinopoj\u00ebs. Ishte me origjin\u00eb nga ishulli i Itak\u00ebs. U quajt Gjergj n\u00eb Pag\u00ebzimin e shenjt\u00eb dhe mori nj\u00eb formim t\u00eb shk\u00eblqyer, si t\u00eb krishter\u00eb ashtu dhe n\u00eb dijen e bot\u00ebs. U b\u00eb murg me emrin Rafael dhe u hirotonis prift, duke u nderuar arkimandrit dhe protosingjel. P\u00ebr shkak t\u00eb aft\u00ebsive, u d\u00ebrgua me mision nga Patriarkana Ekumenike n\u00eb Franc\u00eb, n\u00eb qytetin Morle. Atje u miq\u00ebsua me dhjakun Nikolla, i cili u b\u00eb bashk\u00ebpun\u00ebtori dhe biri i tij shpirt\u00ebror.<\/p>\n

Pas r\u00ebnies s\u00eb Konstandinopoj\u00ebs, ata u strehuan n\u00eb Maqedoni dhe m\u00eb von\u00eb, kur turqit pushtuan Thrak\u00ebn, m\u00eb 1454, shkuan n\u00eb ishullin e Mitilinit (Lesbos). Aty u vendos\u00ebn n\u00eb Thermi, n\u00eb manastirin e Hyjlind\u00ebses, q\u00eb ndodhej pik\u00ebrisht n\u00eb vendin ku u zbuluan lipsanet. T\u00eb Enjten e Madhe t\u00eb vitit 1463, turqit sulmuan manastirin dhe kap\u00ebn igumenin Rafael, t\u00eb cilin e torturuan keq. T\u00eb Mart\u00ebn e Jav\u00ebs s\u00eb Ndritshme, m\u00eb 9 prill, pasi e rrah\u00ebn me topuz\u00ebt e tyre, e t\u00ebrhoq\u00ebn zvarr\u00eb nga mjekra, q\u00eb nga maja e kodr\u00ebs e deri posht\u00eb. Pastaj e var\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb pem\u00eb, ia \u00e7an\u00eb ij\u00ebt me shtiza dhe i shqyen nofull\u00ebn. Kjo ishte m\u00ebnyra me t\u00eb cil\u00ebn Rafaeli u bashkua p\u00ebrjet\u00ebsisht me Krishtin e ngjallur. N\u00eb fakt, skeleti i gjetur nga pun\u00ebtori nuk kishte nofull; ajo u gjet pak m\u00eb larg, pas nj\u00eb shfaqjeje tjet\u00ebr t\u00eb shenjtorit.<\/p>\n

Shfaqjet e shenjtor\u00ebve u shumuan dhe sh\u00ebn Nikolla u zbuloi mjaft njer\u00ebzve vendin e sakt\u00eb t\u00eb varrit t\u00eb tij. Pas disa ngurrimeve, p\u00ebr shkak se besimtar\u00ebt kishin frik\u00eb se mos i tallnin t\u00eb pabes\u00ebt n\u00eb rast d\u00ebshtimi, g\u00ebrmuan dhe gjet\u00ebn, m\u00eb 13 qershor 1960, lipsanin e trupit t\u00eb sh\u00ebn Nikoll\u00ebs. M\u00ebsuan nga sh\u00ebn Rafaeli, se sh\u00ebn Nikolla ishte me origjin\u00eb nga Raghesi i Medis\u00eb, por ishte rritur n\u00eb Selanik. Kur erdhi ora e tij, turqit e kap\u00ebn dhe e torturuan; vdiq gjat\u00eb torturave, nga nj\u00eb atak n\u00eb zem\u00ebr.<\/p>\n

Nj\u00ebkoh\u00ebsisht, nj\u00eb vajze iu shfaq nj\u00eb vash\u00eb dymb\u00ebdhjet\u00ebvje\u00e7are, me pamje engj\u00ebllore, martirja e shenjt\u00eb Irini. Hyjlind\u00ebsja Mari i zbuloi nj\u00eb tjetri, se Irini ishte vajza e kryetarit t\u00eb fshatit, Vasilit, i cili kishte gjetur streh\u00eb n\u00eb manastir bashk\u00eb me banor\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00eb. Turqit u p\u00ebrpoq\u00ebn q\u00eb t\u00eb m\u00ebsonin nga ai se ku ndodheshin luft\u00ebtar\u00ebt e krishter\u00eb, por nuk ia dol\u00ebn. Prandaj, mor\u00ebn t\u00eb bij\u00ebn dhe, n\u00eb sy t\u00eb prind\u00ebrve, ia pren\u00eb t\u00eb dyja duart, e hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb voz\u00eb t\u00eb madhe dhe i vun\u00eb zjarrin, duke e djegur t\u00eb gjall\u00eb. Pastaj masakruan prind\u00ebrit e vajz\u00ebs dhe Theodhorin, m\u00ebsuesin e fshatit. Sh\u00ebn Rafaeli u shfaq gjat\u00eb zbulesave t\u00eb tjera t\u00eb lavdishme i rrethuar nga nj\u00eb num\u00ebr i madh shenjtoresh, q\u00eb ishin murgesha q\u00eb jetonin n\u00eb at\u00eb manastir nj\u00eb shekull para tyre.<\/p>\n

M\u00eb 11 maj 1235, igumenia Olimbiadha dhe murgesha Efrosini u masakruan aty nga pirat\u00ebt turq. Sh\u00ebn Rafaeli lejoi t\u00eb zbulohej edhe nj\u00eb ikon\u00eb e Krishtit dhe nj\u00eb burim ajazme, n\u00ebp\u00ebrmjet t\u00eb cilave u kryen mrekulli t\u00eb shumta. N\u00eb fakt, shenjtor\u00ebt nuk u mjaftuan t\u00eb tregonin vet\u00ebm p\u00ebr ekzistenc\u00ebn dhe rrethanat e martirizimit t\u00eb tyre.<\/p>\n

Af\u00ebrsin\u00eb e tyre me Per\u00ebndin\u00eb e provuan me an\u00eb t\u00eb mrekullive, q\u00eb sa vijn\u00eb e shtohen. Sh\u00ebn Rafaeli vazhdon edhe sot t\u2019u shfaqet, n\u00eb \u00ebnd\u00ebrr apo kur jan\u00eb zgjuar, shum\u00eb njer\u00ebzve, besimtar\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrshpirtsh\u00ebm apo indiferent\u00eb, nga Greqia e deri n\u00eb Amerik\u00eb e Australi. Ai sh\u00ebron t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00ebt e pash\u00ebruesh\u00ebm, zgjon nd\u00ebrgjegjet e r\u00ebnduara nga m\u00ebkati, leht\u00ebson dhimbjet e hidh\u00ebrimet dhe shfaq se Zoti lavd\u00ebrohet n\u00eb shenjtor\u00ebt e Tij, sot ashtu si dje e n\u00eb jet\u00eb jet\u00ebve<\/p>\n
