\n\t    During 2010, Diakonia Agapes has implemented the project \u201cA Healthy Lifestyle for Children\u201d in the rural areas of Librazhd and Gramsh. In the project framework,<\/span> <\/span>Diakonia Agapes<\/span><\/a> has collaborated with the elementary schools in both of these areas contributing towards the improvement of the teaching standards and conditions in these schools.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\n\t    Between December 2009 – January 2010 Diakonia Agapes has supported the elementary schools of Xhyr\u00eb in the Librazhd area and Tunj\u00eb in the Gramsh area with different educational materials which have significantly contributed to improving the infrastructure of the two schools.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n\t
\n\t    First, Diakonia Agapes and the directors of the elementary schools did a need assessment. Then, different materials such as tables, chairs, didactic supplies, maps, globes, benches for the schoolyards, bookshelves for the school libraries, bulletin boards, first aid boxes which did not exist in the schools, as well as wall boards with health and environmental messages, were purchased and distributed to the schools.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\n\t    The teachers, pupils as well as the parents of the children expressed their deep gratitude for the support and emphasized that this was truly a great help to them and their community.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
