Sh\u00ebn Platoni jetonte n\u00eb Angira, n\u00eb Galati, n\u00eb koh\u00ebn e sundimit t\u00eb perandorit Maksimian (285-305) dhe ishte v\u00ebllai i martirit t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb Antioku. Ngaq\u00eb rr\u00ebfente publikisht besimin te Krishti dhe u jepte zem\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve t\u00eb q\u00ebndronin t\u00eb fort\u00eb gjat\u00eb p\u00ebrndjekjes, ushtar\u00ebt e perandorit e kap\u00ebn dhe e \u00e7uan para qeveritarit Agripini. I pathyer n\u00eb bindjen e tij, megjith\u00ebse ishte i ri, u rrah nga 12 ushtar\u00eb, pastaj e shtrin\u00eb mbi nj\u00eb shtrat t\u00eb p\u00ebrv\u00ebluar bronzi, ia shqyen mishrat, e dogj\u00ebn dhe i b\u00ebn\u00eb lloj-lloj torturash.<\/p>\n

Sh\u00ebn Romani ishte nga Palestina dhe ushtronte funksionet e dhjakut dhe t\u00eb ekzorcistit n\u00eb Kish\u00ebn e Qesaris\u00eb. Ai ndodhej n\u00eb Antioki, m\u00eb 303, kur perandori Dioklecian publikoi ediktet e persekutimit t\u00eb p\u00ebrgjithsh\u00ebm t\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve. Kur pa shum\u00eb burra, gra dhe f\u00ebmij\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00eb t\u00eb braktisnin Per\u00ebndin\u00eb e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb nga frika e vuajtjes dhe t\u2019u sakrifikonin idhujve, ai s\u2019mundi ta duronte k\u00ebt\u00eb dor\u00ebzim dhe, duke ecur drejt tyre, i qortoi me z\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb.
