Edhe si lindi Jisui n\u00eb Betlehem t\u00eb Judes\u00eb, n\u00eb dit\u00ebt e mbretit Herod, ja, ca mag\u00eb nga Lindja erdh\u00ebn n\u00eb Jerusalem, duke th\u00ebn\u00eb: Ku \u00ebsht\u00eb mbreti i Judenjve q\u00eb ka lindur? Sepse pam\u00eb yllin e tij nga Lindja dhe erdh\u00ebm q\u00eb t\u2019i falemi. Edhe mbreti Herod kur d\u00ebgjoi, u drodh edhe bashk\u00eb me t\u00eb edhe gjith\u00eb Jerusalemi. Edhe si mblodhi gjith\u00eb kryeprift\u00ebrinjt\u00eb edhe shkruesit e popullit, pyeste t\u00eb merrte vesh prej tyre se ku lind Krishti. Edhe ata i than\u00eb atij: N\u00eb Betlehem t\u00eb Judes\u00eb. Sepse k\u00ebshtu \u00ebsht\u00eb shkruar me an\u00eb t\u00eb profetit: \u201cEdhe ti, Betlehem, dheu i Judes\u00eb, aspak nuk je m\u00eb i vogli nd\u00ebr t\u00eb par\u00ebt e Judes\u00eb; sepse prej teje do t\u00eb dal\u00eb nj\u00eb prij\u00ebs, i cili do t\u00eb kullos\u00eb popullin tim Izrael\u201d.<\/p>\n

At\u00ebher\u00eb Herodi thirri fshehurazi mag\u00ebt, edhe mori vesh me sakt\u00ebsi nga ata koh\u00ebn e yllit q\u00eb ishte dukur. Edhe duke i d\u00ebrguar ata n\u00eb Betlehem, tha: Shkoni e v\u00ebzhgoni mir\u00eb p\u00ebr f\u00ebmij\u00ebn, edhe si ta gjeni, t\u00eb m\u00eb lajm\u00ebroni, q\u00eb t\u00eb vij edhe un\u00eb e t\u2019i falem atij.<\/p>\n

Edhe ata si d\u00ebgjuan mbretin ik\u00ebn; edhe ja ylli q\u00eb kishin par\u00eb n\u00eb Lindje tek shkonte p\u00ebrpara tyre, deri sa erdhi e q\u00ebndroi sip\u00ebr tek ishte f\u00ebmija. Edhe ata kur pan\u00eb yllin, u g\u00ebzuan me g\u00ebzim fort t\u00eb madh.<\/p>\n
