Theophany Celebration and the Blessing of Water Services Held in the context of the imposed restrictions due to the pandemic.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The feast of Theophany of our Lord is always celebrated with splendor and joy, but this year it was accompanied by the restrictions and rules imposed by the pandemic. Numerous believers, maintaining the social distance and wearing masks, headed to the church to participate in the Divine Liturgy and the Blessing of Water Service.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday morning, January 6, 2021, the Liturgy and the Service were performed by His Beatitude Anastasios, the Archbishop of Tirana, Durres and All Albania, in the “Resurrection of Christ” Cathedral in Tirana. He celebrated together with his Grace Nathanail, the Metropolitan of Amantia, Bishop Asti of Bylis, and other clergy of the Archiepiscopate.<\/p>\n

In the end, the faithful headed to the numerous taps placed outside the church, and trying to avoid social gathering, received the holy water and carried it with them to their homes as a blessing.<\/p>\n
