Our Beginning
The Albanian – Greek 9 Years Elementary School, “Spirit of Love” in Durrёs opened its doors in 2005 for all children ages 7 to 15 years old. The school is part of the “Spirit of Love” Foundation founded through the initiative of His Beatitude Anastasios, Archbishop of Tirana, Durrёs and All Albania.
Our Philosophy
The aim of our school is to lay a foundation for the development of each child in proportion to their needs and talents to become members of the society. Our goal is to establish a foundation of education and communication that will cultivate the children’s social and emotional development and prepare them for independent activities in the community.
Our Mission
The teachers, students and families seek, as a community, to educate students in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with reciprocal respect, encouraging them to exchanging ideas and inspiring self-confidence. We offer creative activities, in a logical setting with a variety of educational materials. We employ an active learning approach that will provide students with the proper tools to prepare for further education and future challenges; critical thinking and problem solving skills, computers, and the Greek language. We seek to provide an environment that will allow the student to grow and development rapidly and to prepare them for a successful life.

Acceptance:
Students must apply between May and August for the new academic year. Acceptance is based on the preparation and skills of each student.
